Root-knot nematodes (Meloidogyne incognita / M. javanica) Roots of severely attacked (left) and healthy plant (right). Affected plants are normally stunted and eventually wilt and die. mh 14.9.09 I miss an indroduction that explains what is a nematode. Maybe include some more photos into the text, if possible own. Close-up would be nice of a nematode. Resistant varieties available where? Valid only for Kenya or also for other countries? Some links to other datasheets can be included (solarisation, neem, etc). Kindly include the reference about the effect of large amounts of green manure that keep the number of nematodes down and it would be nice to get the source and describe it in detail (what amount?)(ref. was mentioned according Eric Wyss: Robin Taylor, Partners in Research and development, ACIAR Australia summer issue 2005-6)
