mh 17.6.09 As hosts Millet and Sorghum were not marked in host list in header (in database), there is no pestmodule (no information) on Millet and Sorghum for this pest. Pls compile. Farmer practise should go to monitoring section. Pls provide source (who reported it?). Pls make sure, that pestmodules on maize and sorghum include this item as well. Neem recipe is ok and detailled, though it is unclear when to apply (preventive or when stalkborer appear?). Unclear also, in part one: - if 1000g is enough for 2000 plants, there would be 0.5 gramm per plant? true? - in part three: there is also a sentence saying aqueous seed extract combined with extracted ground neem seeds and sawdust... - is it meant aqueous neem seed extract? pls explain, I do not have access to the references provided. Also the dosage is unclear ( the mixture was filtered and applied to the maize plants). We have also included this recipe on Neem site, but it is not clear for which pests it can be applied. If its only against maize stalk borer, we must include this information on Neem site. I would suggest to make detailed pest-specicic recipes for each pest.
